Who We Are
Radical Mission Compassionate Ministries currently operates out of Clarksville First Church of the Nazarene. We seek to creatively address issues of suffering and brokenness in Clarksville, TN, particularly pertaining to poverty and basic human needs. We recognize that this is a two-fold act: (1) First, to provide opportunities for Christians in Clarksville to serve Jesus as He comes to us in "the least of these"; i.e. the poor, the imprisoned, the sick, the outcast; (2) Second, to holistically meet the needs of Clarksville residents or transients who are living at or below the poverty line.
Radical Mission seeks to develop genuine relationships in our community that are rooted in the love of God.
We are committed, through living compassionately, to bring relief assistance, personal and spiritual development and social transformation.
We desire that these friendships will allow us to discover and address the root causes of poverty, injustice, and broken relationships.
We understand that compassion means literally, "to suffer with".
